1. Certificate Disclaimer
Tru Tradesman's Institute certificates document completion of internal program modules, assignments, quizzes, monthly exams, conduct requirements, and instructor/admin approval. Monthly certificates and the final certificate are not a state license, contractor license, EPA certification, OSHA card, or guarantee of employment.
2. OSHA 10 & EPA 608 Access
OSHA 10 access and EPA 608 exam access are included in tuition and are purchased or assigned through approved third-party providers. Tru Tradesman's Institute provides preparation, coordination, and access support but does not issue these credentials and does not guarantee that a student will pass. Credential completion depends on the student meeting provider requirements, identity verification, testing, attendance/time rules, and any provider-specific conditions.
3. No Guarantee of License, Job, Income, or Independent Work Authorization
Enrollment and completion do not guarantee a job, promotion, income level, business opportunity, license, permit approval, certification, or contractor status. Students must comply with all applicable federal, state, local, OSHA, EPA, Florida Building Code, Florida Mechanical Code, Florida Electrical Code/NEC, employer, licensing, permitting, and supervision requirements. Refrigerant, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and construction work may require licensed supervision, permits, certifications, and code-compliant execution.
4. Liability & Field Safety Acknowledgment
Students understand that HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, construction, and field environments may involve hazards, including heat, sharp metal, ladders, attics, confined spaces, electricity, moving parts, refrigerants, compressed gases, tools, equipment, customer property, and job-site conditions. Students agree to follow all safety rules, wear required PPE, obey the instructor/lead technician, avoid unauthorized work, report unsafe conditions, and never perform live electrical, refrigerant, brazing, mechanical, or field work without proper supervision and authorization. Field participation may be denied or removed for safety, conduct, payment, or readiness concerns.
5. Apprentice-Level Training
This program is apprentice-level, supervised learning. Students may not diagnose, quote, repair, wire, braze, charge, recover, or service equipment independently, and may not represent themselves as licensed, certified, employed, or authorized by Tru Tradesman's Institute unless written approval exists.
