Terms & Student Conduct
Last updated: [Effective Date]
Welcome to Tru Tradesman's Institute. These Terms govern your enrollment in and use of the Tru Tradesman's Institute platform and the 6-month HVAC online workforce training program (the “Program”). By enrolling, creating an account, or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Program
Tru Tradesman's Institute provides a structured, apprentice-level HVAC workforce training program delivered online: six monthly courses, 30 instructor-led video lessons, worksheets, assignments, quizzes, monthly exams, monthly Certificates of Completion, and a final Certificate of Completion subject to all completion requirements. The Program prepares students and coordinates access to OSHA 10 and EPA 608 exam access through approved third-party providers; it does not itself issue those credentials.
2. Enrollment & Eligibility
You must provide accurate enrollment information, acknowledge the required textbook, and accept the Program policies, refund/payment policy, certificate disclaimer, and liability/field-safety terms. Access to each month depends on payment standing, completion of required tasks, conduct standing, and admin/instructor approval.
3. Student Conduct Agreement
By enrolling, you agree to:
- Attend and complete lessons honestly and in sequence.
- Respect instructors, staff, employers, customers, classmates, and property.
- Avoid unsafe behavior, harassment, discrimination, threats, theft, cheating, unauthorized recordings, or disruptive conduct.
- Never claim to be licensed, certified, employed, or authorized beyond your actual credentials.
- Never perform side work under the Tru Tradesman's Institute name, or use school/employer relationships, without written authorization.
- Follow all safety instructions, PPE requirements, field/lab rules, privacy rules, and chain-of-command procedures.
Unsafe conduct, dishonesty, harassment, property damage, theft, or violation of field-safety rules may result in removal from the Program without refund.
4. Intellectual Property
All Program content—videos, worksheets, assignments, quizzes, and materials—is owned by or licensed to Tru Tradesman's Institute and is for your individual training use only. You may not copy, record, redistribute, resell, or publicly share Program content without written permission.
5. Account & Access
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Access may be paused or suspended for non-payment, conduct violations, or as described in the Refund & Payment Policy.
6. No Guarantee
Completion of the Program does not guarantee employment, income, licensure, contractor qualification, EPA certification, OSHA card issuance, or authorization to perform regulated work independently. See our Disclaimers.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
